Privacy Policy
Effective August 11, 2026. InstantRebuild is a product of Listening Post Inc, a Nevada corporation.
This Privacy Policy describes what information Listening Post Inc ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use InstantRebuild ("the Service"), how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Email address. This is your account. We use it to send sign-in links, receipts, and service notices.
- Website URL. The public website address you provide for rebuilding.
- Public website content. When you give us your URL, we read your existing public website to extract your business name, services, phone number, hours, photos, and other publicly visible content. We use this to build your new site.
- Editor content. Any text, photos, or changes you make in the visual editor.
- Support communications. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Retained for 30 days for security and debugging.
- Usage data. Which pages you visit and features you use within the Service, used to improve the product.
Information we never collect
- Payment card numbers. All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Passwords. Sign-in is by email link only. We do not store passwords.
- Advertising or behavioral tracking profiles. We do not track you across the internet.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To read your existing website and generate a rebuilt version
- To host and serve your published website
- To email you sign-in links, receipts, and service notices
- To deliver contact form submissions from your published site to your email
- To provide customer support
- To improve the Service (aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns only)
We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Who We Share Information With
We share information only with the providers required to operate the Service:
- Google Cloud. Hosting, infrastructure, and AI content generation.
- Stripe. Payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we receive only confirmation that payment succeeded.
- Resend. Email delivery for sign-in links and notifications.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Your Rights and Choices
Access and correction
You can view and edit all content on your site from your dashboard at any time.
Data export
Email support@instantrebuild.com to request a copy of your data.
Account deletion
Email support@instantrebuild.com to delete your account. We will remove your content from our systems within 30 days, except payment records we are required to keep by law and server logs within their 30-day retention period.
Communication preferences
Sign-in links and service notices (receipts, billing alerts) are required for the Service. We do not send marketing email.
5. Data Retention
- Account data (email, site content, edits) is retained while your account is active.
- Cancelled accounts: content is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you resubscribe, then deleted.
- Server logs are retained for 30 days.
- Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure. Access to customer data is limited to the people operating the Service. We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.
7. Data Transfers
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will email you at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
